Hardware Engineer – Space Systems berlin
As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for development and testing of satellite subsystems from prototyping and design to manufacturing and testing. You will start with support of existing technical solutions with a focus on testing of electrical systems to the upcoming missions. Your area of responsibility will expand with new projects.
Main responsibilities

Satellite subsystem design and prototyping, schematic capture, prototype bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification.

Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving existing electrical designs.
-
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
-
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
-
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects.
-
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Maintaining electrical equipment.

Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, aerospace, math, or science discipline or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience with hardware development
-
2+ years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed- signal circuit boards from concept through production
-
Hands-on experience using design and calculation software, Altium Designer knowledge
-
Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
-
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, enthusiasm for the team's spirit

Hands on experience troubleshooting PCBs
-
A good attitude and team-oriented spirit

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (C/C++) berlin

Software development for the German Orbital Systems 3U, 6U and 12U based CubeSats:
-
Provide experience for the design and implementation of embedded software systems and spacecraft onboard processing.
-
Write high quality structured bare metal software for embedded applications for space and ground segment for satellites missions.
-
Support and improve existing software and build/deploy/upgrade processes for embedded targets.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience with embedded software development using C, C++, python
-
Understanding of embedded software principles and ability to contribute to design sessions.

Strong skills in development, debugging, performance optimization and testing

Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
